Alebrijes are creatures of Mexican folk art, pictured as very vivid and colorful, usually combining multiple types of animals. Casey decided to reimagine how Sofie would look as an alebrije in her own style. While this is one of her older digital illustrations, she considers this to be one of the first digital illustrations she delved into conceptually.
