"Casey and Sofie," 2021

Sofie was a rescue dog Casey's family adopted in 2016, that soon after became Casey's right-hand dog. Casey often talks about Sofie, especially in reference to her art. For multiple of her pieces, she's tried to sneak in and include random Sofie references. The first folder of this folder is a dedication of Sofie because Sofie wasn't just a dog to Casey, but also a guide to persevering and a symbol of hopefulness. Casey hopes to continue representing Sofie in her artwork so others can learn from the same dog Casey grew up with.
